Gunnlod-Hjarta (aka Laure) is a 42 year old consecrated priestess of Odin, practicing Heathen spirit worker, and witch. She has been married to Odin for many years. For various spooky-foo reasons including blood lineage, she has very strong connections with the Jotun Goddess Gunnlod, as a result of which she bears Her name and has been charged by Odin with the task of (re-) establishing a cult for Her (as well as for Odin's Mother, Bestla). The inception of this kindred is one result of that charge. Other Gods she works with include Bragi, Loki, and a growing team of spirits who are allies of her God-husband. She has been involved with assorted flavors of witchcraft, shamanism and magic since her teens. She is also a Reiki II practitioner. She holds a B.A. in English Literature, works as a web designer/content developer, and lives in Philadelphia, PA with her soul-sister Jolene, her teenaged daughter, two dogs, a pride of cats, and a small flock of birds. When not busy tending her Gods, her kindred, and her menagerie, she writes fiction, poetry and pagan/Heathen non-fiction. Her work has appeared in Idunna and newWitch, among other places.
Jolene (also known online as Bluedolfyn) is a twenty-nine-year-old polytheist living in Philadelphia, PA with her sister Laure, Laure’s daughter, and an assortment of dogs, cats and birds. As a bride of Poseidon and a daughter of Odin, Jolene supports the idea of Gods and spirits having deep, personal, intimate relationships with humans; while these relationships are not for everyone, they can offer a rich exchange between those involved. Besides being drawn towards both the Hellenic and Heathen cultures and histories, Jolene studies Yoga and is a Reiki II practitioner. As a Reiki practitioner, she is always willing to accept requests for healing. Simply shoot her an email. If you're interested in checking out any of her writing, many of her short stories can be read at Mosaic Minds in the prose archives, and a collection of short stories inspired by her love for Poseidon can be read in her self-published book, Treasures from The Deep, available here. Soli is a 33 year old mystic, ecstatic, visionary, spirit worker and witch. She is Kemetic Orthodox--a Shemsu in the House of Netjer, Heathen, serves the spirits, and has practiced magick in various forms since 1992. Among the Gods she serves are her Father Wepwawet-Yinepu,
her Beloved Seshat-Nit-Nebthet, Odin, Frigga and Bragi. She currently works in a library, holds a B.A. in Asian studies, and has hopes to
pursue a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. She is
also a voracious reader on a
wide range of topics, listens to bands you've probably never heard of,
watches lots of movies, dabbles in various crafty projects, is
moderately addicted to BPAL, and a bunch of other stuff about which
she can babble. Above all else Soli is insatiably curious and has an
endless thirst for knowledge… and various alcohols and caffeinated beverages.
She would also like to note that she hates writing autobiographies and
encourages people to ask questions if they'd like to know anything
else.

Some of my favorite books include The Secret Life of Bees and The Mermaid's Chair by Sue Monk Kidd, the Weather Warden Series by Rachael Caine, the Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher, the novels of Diana Paxson, the Chocolate Mystery series by Joanna Carl. I am a huge reader, so this list could be endless!
Mary is a novelist and a traveler, crossing boundaries, between countries and between the worlds. Her life is steeped in folklore, history, and myth, and she has dedicated her life to serving ancestral memory through her writing. A life long expat, she currently lives in the North of England, near Pendle Hill, famous for its legends of the Lancashire witches, the subject of her latest novel-in-progess. A country-dweller, her life is ruled by the rhythms of the land. On an average day, she sees more sheep than people. She has coordinated a study group centered on Women's Mysteries in the Northern Tradition and is also deeply inspired by the mythos of ancient Greece.
Myths are timeless, undying stories, and their function is to tell the truth. As contemporary British storyteller Hugh Lupton has said, if you go deep enough into the old tales and can present them in an evocative and meaningful way to a modern audience, you become the living voice in an ancient tradition. This is what she hopes she can do. Would you know more?
